Vicki Probst, who submitted this photo of her brother Steve Franks (pictured above), says: "Steve was diagnosed with ALS eight years ago. He recently volunteered to head up the Florida ALS Association's 'Piece by Piece' campaign. Composed of 150 legless and armless mannequins, the campaign shows how ALS steals one's body, piece by piece. Each mannequin wears a T-shirt with the name, birth year, and year of death of a person with ALS."
