In light of the global health concerns around COVID-19 (coronavirus), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2022 Bike Helmet Donation and Giveaway program. Our top priority is the health, safety, and well-being of the attendees and staff.
The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) is dedicated to raising awareness about brain health and the prevention of brain injuries.
As part of this commitment, the AAN’s Bike Helmet Giveaway program has donated free bike helmets to local Minneapolis non-profit organizations, such as the Minneapolis Police Department Bike Cops for Kids, Brain Injury Alliance Minnesota, and Hennepin County Health Care for the Homeless.
Since 2012, the program has provided tens of thousands of bike helmets to children and adults.
