Engage Your Mind at the 2017 Brain Health Fair

Chat with neurologists—and hold a real human brain—at the Brain Health Fair, a family-friendly event at the American Academy of Neurology's Annual Meeting.

Do you ever wonder how your brain works? Or which parts of it are responsible for language, movement, or pain? What if you could take a tour of your brain and investigate every nook and cranny? You can come pretty close at the Brain Health Fair, a free public event at the American Academy of Neurology's Annual Meeting, where attendees can explore a gigantic, interactive, walk-through brain. At another exhibit, you can even hold a real human brain.

This year's event is Friday, April 21, in Boston at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from 10 AM to 4 PM. Allow plenty of time to visit the dozens of patient organization booths where knowledgeable staff provide helpful resources and health screenings, hear about the latest treatment and advances from local and national neurologists, and stop by the Neurology Now booth to meet the editorial team.

In the exhibit hall, you can view animal brains from a mouse to a dolphin, stop at an Ask the Neurologist booth to ask about specific neurologic conditions, and see what it's like to have an electroencephalogram.

Soak up the buzz in the convention hall as attendees connect, share advice and resources, and pick up free reading material and gifts, including a brand new bike helmet.
